Editorial Review:

Buck Rogers once said "There are countless ways of achieving greatness, but any road to achieving one's maximum potential must be built on a bedrock of respect for the individual, a commitment to excellence, and a rejection of mediocrity". This toaster looks like a radio that might have appeared in one of those Buck Rogers or Flash Gordon serials of the 1940's. One could say this is a toaster with a built-in radio or a radio with a built-in toaster. Either way, this product definitely rejects mediocrity. Whether you place it in your kitchen or in your dormitory, you can rest assured of its excellence and quality. The Kenwood TT756SL goes where other toasters and radios have gone before but it can also venture much farther. Slide-out crumb tray makes cleanup a breeze 110-Volt AC power cord

Beautiful design, poor sound:

The attractive retro design is hard not to notice and usually gets a lot of "wows". People often don't recognize it at first as a toaster. The toaster itself is somewhat slow, taking about 90 seconds to toast a slice of french roll. It is spacious enough to fit half a french roll, if you want. Bread slices tend to come out a little more toasted on the lower half. Don't trust the timer, or your toasts will get burned. Never set the toaster above level 2 (maximum is 6), or you will surely eat burned bread,... more info

brave little toaster:

Works great and but most of all it is very eye catching on the kitchen cabinet.

It's Got a Great Beat But I Can't Dance to It:

I was overwhelmed when I saw this Toaster Radio sitting on a shelf. Our office toaster had disappeared-- really. Did someone borrow it and forget to mention it? Take it home by accident? I'm no longer concerned, because it was a plain old white toaster. This is an electric blue toaster WITH A RADIO!
Toaster works fine. The radio is nothing short of terrible which is why I knocked a star off. But this maybe the only occasion I ever have to quote Samuel Johnson in a toaster review-- please excuse the... more info

It makes great toast!:

I thought that this was one of the silliest gifts I ever got until I made toast with it! My English muffins came out nicely browned, not dry or burnt and I did not have to push the muffins down twice. The controls on the radio are ingenious. You push one button and the radio automatically tunes to the a broadcast with a strong signal. If you push the button again it goes to the next strong signal. The radio does not have good sound quality, but who cares? I've been looking for a good toaster for years.
