Furthermore, DeWalt's exclusive back fence makes it possible to cut two by ten dimensional lumber at 90 degree angles and to cut two by eight lumber at 45 degrees, while the unique double bevel design allows you create both left and right bevels from 0 to 48 degrees. Positive stops in commonly used positions make it easy to change the position of the saw instead of flipping the material to give you more complete control. A machined base fence support helps guarantee accuracy, while the innovative engineering behind the gearbox and belt-drive increases vertical cutting capacity. Very nice saw:
I've had this saw for a couple of weeks now. I bought it to replace a Hatachi 10 inch Double Bevel miter saw that was just wore out. I used the saw to cut widow and door trim that I was replacing and to build a fireplace mantle. It cut nice striate, clean cuts.
I'm very pleased with the saw and would recommend it to anyone.
awesome cuts!:
I got this saw for about $370 (free ship) +free palm sander....great deal and both tools are great. For the novice user, you can save $ by buying a "non-compound" saw since crown molding can be cut in a vertical position without compound cut. Wish someone told me, could have saved more, but it's awesome if you need the feature.

Nice saw - so far so good, I hope it last as long as my single bevel chop saw...
Great saw even for a non-professional:
Even though I was just using this to put a floor in my sunroom (and don't have much skill with power tools or carpentry), I thought the saw was easy to use, safe, and accurate. I found it worthwhile to buy a good quality saw, as it appears the Dewalt will continue to perform for many years to come.
