The movie series is fun to watch, but one of the disks was defective and could only be viewed half way through the movie.
Deep and riveting:
Great series. Far more worthy of time and praise than the Pirates of the Caribbean sequels. Has it all: drama, action, suspense, comedy, tragedy, a bit of romance.
perfect gift:
This was a gift for my parents who watched the series on tv, and they love having the complete dvd set.
Excellent collection:
This is an excellent collection of classic literature, goes a little awry of the book, but not too much. The acting for the most part was very good and as a whole it is very entertaining. Another job well done for A&E!
