These speakers were recommended to me by a friend, and I have yet to be disappointed. For the size of the speakers, the sound quality is excellent. High and mid ranges are clear and crisp, and the woofer, though somewhat anemic, is cleverly designed into the fold out cover for as much bass as I would expect from portable speakers. A few days ago amazon was selling this for $58 with free shipping. I was thinking about going ahead and buying it because they seemed to be good and they are not being made anymore (a lot of stores aren't selling them any more). Well, Amazon stopped selling them. Not satisfactor for higher range:
I am going to return this product. It is compact, simple and light. I like it how it looks. But it does not pick up sounds as much as I expected, especially higher ranges. The violin sounds thin and poor, coming from far away. This speaker set also does not pick up some sounds that my built-in computer speakers can. However, the lower sounds are full and rich, you can enjoy it.
