Great silent heater!!:

I initially bought this heater to put under my desk at work as it gets pretty chilly there (sub 65 degrees brrr). It is extremely quiet, I don't hear any sound unless I put my head below my desk! Also gives off a lot of heat, I am using it on the low setting as the high setting kept tripping the power, but the low setting is more than good enough to heat me in my cube. I am now buying another one of these to put in my den at home as that room is not connected to the main heat.

Don't buy this heater:

I had about the same experience as a previous poster. I received the heater, opened the box and the heater was filthy. It was covered with dirt and fingerprints and looked like it was used for a year. But since I paid so much for shipping I decided to at least give it a try and was very disappointed. It say's you can adjust the temperature to whatever temp you want (up to 85 degrees). I bought it to put under my desk at work because it is so cold in my office. Arrived in Poor, Possibly Reconditioned Condition:

The retail box for this heater arrived with a giant gash in the side and a damaged corner; the shipping box is in perfect condition, so it wasn't damaged on the way here. I can overlook that, but the heater itself is completely filthy - covered in a thick layer of dirt, dust, and fingerprints, like it's been sitting in somebody's woodshop for a couple weeks. Perfect for a 1 person Office:

My office is freezing. I needed a quiet heater to provide local heat. This is a dream. It has a thermostat (my office was 56 degrees this am - before i turned it on!). You can set it to shut off when a certain temp is reached - but i just keep it on high all the time - just enough to heat my work area.
