love my swiffer vac:
this is my second swiffer vac. i used the first one till it died (since they first came out). The second is strong and lasts long enough to do the kitchen ad bathroom. i cant live without my swiffer vac.

The swiffer is great to have if you have wooden floors or tile. It is definitely better than a broom because with the duster and the vacuum together it is great, especially if you have animals like I do.The only negative thing I have to say is that I had one for about a year(maybe less) and it died on me and today I am replacing it. I tried living without for several months but I just couldn't, the dust is driving me crazy and the broom and dust mop just don't cut it when it comes to getting up the dust.

Handy to use and seems to work fine. However, Swiffer should have used Lithium Ion batteries on this product. The battery life is unacceptable and this is due to nickel cadmium battery, which no one wants anymore. I will not buy any more cordless tools or devices that do not come with Lithium Ion batteries. Swiffer....use Lithium Ion and charge another ten bucks. I would be more than happy to pay extra knowing that the battery life will allow me to do more than my kitchen. Just my take on the matter.

I asked for this for Christmas last year (2007) and pretty much have used it every day or at least twice a week since then. We have hardwood floors and it works great. Love the fact that it is cordless and just need to simply plug it in to recharge. It works great since we have two cats and a 2 year old little girl. Yes, sometimes it doesn't pick up certain things (a lot of times - it just needs to be recharged and then it will pick up the item.) But, for the majority of items - it picks things up... more info
