Good, but could be better:
Amazon makes it easy to switch to recycled paper products at our house. There are a couple of things, though, that would make this product better. The rolls are not quite as long as regular paper towels, so they tend to fall off a standard towel dispenser unless it's spring-loaded. And, if we could find the half-sheet rolls in a recycle-able product, that would become the standard for our family. Many times we only need half a sheet to do the job. That saves a lot of trash over the course of a year.
Very Disappointed:
I love buying "green" products and recycled products. These paper towels are the worst ever. I absolutely hate them. I would send them back if it was worth the shipping. As soon as they are even slightly moist they fall apart and disintegrate. We don't use baby wipes, instead we use paper towels and plain water to clean our toddler and 5 year old boys. These are terrible for that purpose. Even if we use four or five towels at once they fall apart and are useless. Wiping up spills produces the same effect.... more info
why?:
I have been buying Seventh Generation paper products from Amazon for the last couple of years. I last bought these paper towels in April 2008 and the price now in August 2008 is $10 more. I just can't imagine WHY the price has jumped so significantly. I will look elsewhere.
