When I was in second grade, my teacher had us do a science project with dish detergents. She brought all of her leftover dinner plates (lasagna) and we put them in large ziplock bags. We put a different detergent in each bag and almost instantly the one with dawn started showing pieces of food just floating off the plate. The other ones needed our help shaking the bag or scrubbing with a sponge but the dawn one was the only one that we didn't have to use a sponge on to make the plate look clean. For some... more info
Packets don't always melt:
The product is good when it functions properly. I have had many instances where the packets do not melt in the dishwasher and my water temperature is set very hot. I am not sold on the product because of the issue with packets not melting.
Cleaner Dishes:
This product is among one of the best I have ever used in my dishwasher. My glassware comes out sparkling and no spots. I will continue to buy and use this.
We continue to use these after several years...:
We've found these to work very well. They don't leave spots or soap residue; no etching. Great with grease. This sent is quite nice, not overpowering like I thought it might be.
