Good for the price...: I used this lawnmower for most of a season and it has performed very well. The self-propelled functionality has worked great even given the steep hill near my house. I have also used it to cut through some thick weeds and thistle bushes and it handled the job. Overall, I would recommend this lawn mower, however, I wish the tires were a little more heavy duty. I think that they might be the first thing to wear out. Good, reliable mower depending on your needs: I purchased this mower in the spring and have used it all summer. It is easy to use and much lighter than any of the push mowers I have owned in the past. All of my previous self-propelled mowers were front wheel drive. The rear wheel drive on this one is refreshing because the nose of the mower doesn't ever drive itself into the ground (though the front is very lightweight, so you sometimes do a small wheelie). Wished I'd bought it sooner: I had my old Lawn Boy for 11 years before I bought this one because I was skeptical I could find another Lawn Boy as good as my old one. I was wrong. Very easy to handle up and down my hilly yard which is 1/2 acre. My mower did come fully assembled; all I had to do was adjust the handle. I was lucky because the FedEx guy made sure I was home when he delivered it because he wanted to make sure it wasn't damaged. I'm very pleased.
