Three sauce pans:
I like this set so far. One thing I noticed was that the non-stick coating overlapped the top of some of the pans and tended to flake off. I rubbed the edges real well with a rubber glove to eliminate the loose stuff, but it makes me wonder how well the coating is going to hold up, and how much of the coating I have eaten. I purchased this set and couldn't believe the quality of the items that I received. I have owned multiple other cookware sets, and this was my first Kitchenaid set ever. VERY pleased with the beautiful red color, the weight of the pans--they really make me want to get in the kitchen and COOK! :) Professional feel to this set for sure. Not Hard- Anodized !!!:
KitchenAid Gourmet Reserved 12-Piece Hard-Anodized Cookware Set, Red
is VERY misleading. The set arrived today and is NOT hard anodized aluminium. The product manual advises not to use this on glass top stoves which is the reason we bought the set to begin with. Amazon customer service accepted a return authorization however they pointed out the actual "product description" does not refer to anodized at all.
Let's see how the return goes....Couldn't give a ZERO star rating.
