Job well done:

This is the biggest capacity frier I could find in this price range that had all the good features I wanted. It has a broad temp range, recovers quickly when cold food is put in, dual baskets or 1 big basket, and most importantly a built in thermomiter that is accurate and can see quick temp changes of about 10 degrees. It is much more responcive than my analog fry thermomiter. I especially love the digital controlls.

Nice fryer for the price:

I bought this fryer and used it a dozen times. I liked the capacity and there was a small hassle figuring out how to get the timer to work (never did). The unit seemed to have a problem with the thermostat not being accurate all the time and I got a code "EH" on the LED readout. I called aroma and was unable to get through to customer service. I left a message and they never returned my call. I later tried a second time a few days after and got through in a minutes time (shocking reversal). They told me to... more info

Great value for the price:

Honestly I was a bit dubious of this product initially, considering its price point. But after having used it for the last few months I can definitely recommend it.
Previously I had a Delonghi, which was a great design but did not hold the temperature very well and eventually the drain hose began leaking (oddly they do not sell replacement hoses which is really ridiculous). I had never heard of Aroma before, but figured for this price it was worth a shot. Turned out to be a great purchase.

Great unit - IF it worked:

This unit was a replacement for one I purchased a year ago that quit working about 3 days after the warantee ran out- and I only used it a handful of times. The new fryer I bought was defective from the minute I took it out of the box, something was wrong with the electrical output and it caused it to blow the breaker within 3 minutes every attempt made to use it (most of the time it was within 10 seconds).
