A great tea, an excellent tea!:

Twinings was founded in London, England in 1706, and has a long and respected tradition of producing only the finest of teas. Now, one of the most popular of black teas is Earl Grey, which is a mixture of black tea and oil of bergamot (a small acidic orange). But, some people find Earl Grey a little overpowering. For them, Twinings has come up with a gentler blend named Lady Grey. Lady Grey is a blend of all oriental black teas, Seville orange and lemon peel, and just a hint of Bergamot.

Questionable Freshness:

Product was shipped promptly and tastes fine. Best tea I've found! But this order had the "best before" date removed before shipping. This calls into question whether the product was out of date before being shipped. Also found in local grocery store for about the same cost.

Good but Not Great:

The Twinings loose Earl Grey tea is fine for a morning cuppa (certainly better than most bagged teas). It's not *great* loose tea (you have to pay about 2x as much for *great*, in my experience), but it's certainly satisfactory.

This is one of the teas that I enjoy on a weekly basis and I normally buy the Twining brand, so when they offered this at a discount, I jumped at the chance; Thanks Amazon!
