First of all, this bench arrived in one day (super fast shipping!) I was impressed with the quality of the wood (my husband looked at it and asked if it was teak). It looked exactly as it did in the picture. I also liked the fact that you didn't need any tools to put the bench together (everything you need is included in a package with the parts). A Nicely Made Value Priced Comfortable Bench:

Years ago the first review I ever submitted to Amazon was for another brand of outdoor all-weather bench seating. I still have those and I stand by that review though it's rather pointless since it has not been available for some time now. Recently I had a need for another set of two benches. Looks like an excellent bench. Ordered one. Is still out of stock after about a month. Why doesn't Amazon contact the manufacturer and get a date for delivery? Why the extended mystery? Do you still carry the bench? Maybe it should be taken off the site until Amazon can figure out what's happening.

Great bench!:

I am very happy with this bench. It's very easy to assemble..it's a cinch even for one person. The workmanship is excellent and it is very sturdy..no wiggly joints. It's comfortable even without cushions for sitting purposes.However, I am using it as an indoor bench for now and I sometimes lie down on it...one needs cushions for that! My only complaint is that the packaging it came with was in a bad shape..leading to some minor scratches on the arm rest. I wish to get matching armchairs (not the folding... more info
