If you are, buy this one. It is made with quality. Never gets hot on the outside(except top). Heavy duty cord that you can rap up. Toasts bread perfectly.

I bought mom a plastic Oster toaster five years ago. Microprocessor controlled, lcd readout. A big deal. For some reason, after five years, the plastic started to melt around the opening on top.
