Great Buy:

Heats up quickly, light weight and glides like a dream. Easy to use easy to operate. Temprature adjustment bar is a little tricky at first. Great Value for the money.

Some Issues....:

I purchased this iron because of all the raving reviews. It is a nice iron but I seem to have some issues. One issue that really bothers me is that it seems to turn itself off as I am using it and then I have to unplug it and wait for it to heat up again b/c that is the only way it will start over. It also leaks water. I have read the instructions over and over to see what I am doing wrong.... but I am convinced that it is not me... and that it is the iron. Also it seems that it works well on the cotton... more info

The "Lifetime Warranty" coated soleplate lasted 2 1/2 months...:

The coating on the soleplate literally disintegrated after 2 1/2 months of very light use. Sure, I can probably return it, but I suspect it will be more trouble than it's worth. I'll post again after attempting to resolve the matter with the manufacturer.
Right now, however, I will never consider another T-Fal product and probably won't even if resolving this problem proves to be quick and simple. Who wants to have to return appliances every two months?

It Leaks!:

It works ok as long as you don't use water with it, otherwise you risk burning yourself with boiling water - which is the reason that the verticle steam feature is questionable at best - or drenching your clothes with water...
