Rowenta Ironing Board: Good all around board, but a little clunky to maneuver. Quite heavy-good while you are ironing, but not if you want to move it or store it. Also cord configuration can get in the way, although being able to plug the iron into the board is handy. The iron rest is a little flimsy-bending the thin metal plates to support a heavy iron (I have a Rowenta Advancer) does not feel secure. Good board if you have the room to keep it set up at the ready, not if you need to put it away. Rowenta IB6300 Professional Ironing Board: I bought this board primarily because my old iron had ceased working and I purchased a Rowenta with the water/steam tank. I needed something that would defintely hold the weight of the unit. I had a Brabantia ironing board for years and found trying to find covers very frustrating as well. This board works very well, nice and heavy duty. Has a tray to the side which holds the heavier iron and water/steam tank unit nicely (which is what is was advertised as being able to do). Worth the money - but I do a lot... Outstanding Quality: One cannot imagine spending this much money on an ironing board -- until one uses it. Then, you'll have trouble going back to the flimsy $20 models one finds in most stores. From it's rock solid frame to its larger top to the quality pad and cover to the antenna-like cord holder this product might even make you look forward to coming home and ironing up the pile of shirts that's been sitting in the basket.
