Editorial Review:
This popular and useful mid-sized Swiss Army knives is pefect for any use.
The company that created the renowned Swiss Army knife in 1897 offers this 14-tool pocket knife toolbox for campers, hikers, hunters, fishers, and other outdoor lovers--plus a leather belt pouch at no additional charge. All tools neatly fold up inside a single implement sheathed in durable plastic that measures just 3-1/2 inches long and has a key ring on the end. Tools are all stainless-steel, except for a plastic toothpick. In addition to the toothpick, the tools comprise a large knife blade, small knife blade, can opener, bottle opener, small screwdriver, large screwdriver, reamer, sewing eye, tweezers, corkscrew, scissors, hook, and wood saw. The Huntsman carries a lifetime warranty against defects.
About Victorinox In 1884, Swiss cutler Karl Elsener set up shop in Ibach-Schwyz, installing a waterwheel in Tobelbach Brook to run his grinding and polishing machines. Thus began what would become the international brand name Victorinox, a combination of Victoria, for Elsener's mother, and "inox," or stainless steel. Today, Victorinox produces watches, luggage, clothing, and, famously, Swiss Army Knives. The forerunner of that name dates to 1897, when Elsener patented the Swiss Officer's and Sports Knife he supplied to the Swiss Army. Following World War II, American servicemen and women shopping in PX stores shortened the name to Swiss Army Knife, which lives on in English-speaking countries around the world and has become a metaphor or versatility.

Great camping/hunting everyday knife:
This product is certified by Swiss Army, so you know you are getting an authentic knife. It comes with the pouch witch is handy for carrying your knife wherever you go. Would seriously recommend to anyone looking for an affordable authentic Swiss Army knife with lots of functional accesories that you will surely end up using.
The long term view:
I've had my huntsman for more than 25 years, and it has always functioned flawlessly. The quality of workmanship is superb and the knife shows almost no sign of its age, other than superficial scratches on the scales. One small gritch: The surgical steel is very hard and therefore a little tricky to sharpen. Overall, the Huntsman is a great knife and Victorinox is tough to beat.
Great gifts!:
I bought two as gifts, taking advantage of the excellent price offered by the gold box ($17.99 each). They look sturdy and with enough gadgets as to please my brother and nephew, for whom I bought them. I agree with some of the other reviewers: you can't go wrong with a Swiss Army knife gift! A reputation for excellent quality precedes them.
Great gift for secret Santa!:
I bought this for a secret Santa gift. It's a good choice since it's useful for either a guy or girl and honestly, who doesn't need a Swiss Army knife? They're just too useful to not have one. I own one myself and there's really nothing much I can say about the quality and craftsmanship that went into the knife. The brand speaks for itself.
