Editorial Review:
A floral and butterfly pattern featuring monarchs, dragonflies, tiger swallowtails and blue butterflies lends your tabletop a romantic, whimsical sensibility. Set includes: serving bowl and 6 individual bowls.
This seven-piece Butterfly Meadow set beautifully serves your favorite pasta dish as a main course for six. Included are six individual bowls, each identically decorated on the inside with a blue butterfly and delicate green vine, and one 9-1/2-inch serving bowl, adorned more lavishly on its exterior with varied butterflies and blossoms. The true-to-life designs are based on original illustrations by Lenox artist Louise Le Luyer. A versatile set, the large bowl also may be used for serving a tossed salad, and the individual bowls work well for soup or stew. Like the matching dinnerware, the Butterfly Meadow bowls exhibit a scalloped rim and subtly fluted sides, setting a spring-fresh table that any nature lover will appreciate.
Lenox knows the value of carefree daily dinnerware, and makes these Butterfly Meadow bowls of white porcelain that is safe for heating foods in both a microwave and conventional oven, and cleans up with ease in the dishwasher. Lenox backs its products with a lifetime warranty, and will replace any unsatisfactory item or provide the customer a full refund. In addition, under its lifetime breakage replacement program, Lenox will replace any broken piece that is in stock at 50 percent off the current suggested retail price. --Ann Bieri

Only a Woman would like it.:
I don't see it. My wife keep getting these types of dishes. I don't like it. Its "pretty" but I like funcionality more. These dishes are horrible in the microwave. The food gets luke warm but the plate gets really hot. If you like the way it looks then thats all its good for. The only thing I can see the attractive appeal about it is that its thin yet strong.
grandma's china:
If you like a more classical pattern with some sweet updates, this is a good style. The scalloped edges are lovely. They are sturdy too. I have 3 boys and none have broken yet and they actually like the botanical images and all the insects (ladybug, bee, butterfly)on the plates.
Versatile and beautiful:
The pasta plates are great for soups and pasta. The china is sturdy, and it's not too big or too small. I think the bowl is just okay. It could be a little bigger.
Beautiful and Durable:
I love all the butterfly meadow series. At the store they banged one against a table and it didn't break (don't try at home). The pasta bowls are lovely (as the mama, I love that) and durable (important when you have boys).
