The Perfect Kettle:

I research a lot before buying a product. I'd seen other kettles at $50 and $60, they seemed cheap. I also read reviews about stange smells, both metallic and plastic coming from their kettles. Who wants that? I went down to the local Target to look at this one. It is well constructed and cordless. The cordless feature is great. The chrome looks great and fits into any kitchen. Great choice to get you into hot water:

I originally bought this pot from a Target store. I liked it so much I bought three more, one for each daughter and one for my mother in law. I've had others in the past, but this has a great hand feel and is easy to pour. It also seems quicker than the last one I had. The finish is great and goes well with my new steel appliances.

Love it, don't know how I lived without it.:

After much thought and debate (would it just be another unnecessary
junk appliance that took up space in my kitchen?) I bought this.
I love it, I use it constantly. It makes me use my microwave alot less.
Heats up fast, shuts off when the water is boiling. Simple and
foolproof.

Good value for $$$:

I've owned about a half dozen electric kettles over the years. My watchword: the simpler, the better. Since these kettles don't do much except boil water, what can get complicated? Well, one kettle (a Black & Decker)broke a piece off the top-- out it went. My most recent one was also the longest lasting AND cheapest:a 1.7 liter Proctor Silex.
