Lathe Drive Center:

This drive center seems to be made very nicely. It looks good and is a nice size. I haven't used it that much so far, but I like it. It fits into my lathe tightly. For the money I am very happy.

why did i buy it:

PSI Woodworking LCENTSS22 #2 MT w/ 1-Inch Crown Super Wood Lathe Drive Center
Not sure why I bought it. It works ok but not for holding large blanks. I now use a 1 1/4 inch four tooth driver that works great. This sits in my garage now.

Lathe drive center:

Drive center does not hold wood securely. Lathe drive will continue while billet in lathe stops, Even with substantial pressure from tail stock. Probem more pronounced in hard wood. I would not recommend this product.

PSi Crown Super Wood Lathe Center:

I also have the Sorby version of this center and the PSI is just as good and only 1/3 the price. I have to put a best buy lable on this one.
