Broke after a couple of months.:

This suddenly broke after a couple of months. It looks nice and shiny but is actually a cheap piece of garbage.

Emerson Is NO GOOD:

The first emerson model mw8119sb I purchased 4 months ago just stopped heating the food. Their customer service department is horrorable. So I gave up trying to see if I can troubleshoot it being that I have 3 growing boys who eat all the time. I bought (like an idiot) this emerson microwave and it will heat the food to luke warm. It will not get any hotter. AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER EMERSON AGAIN IN LIFE!! You all purchase at your own risk cause their customer service is just... more info

Won't last more than a year:

Anyone who gives this product a great review just hasn't owned it long enough. The wattage is really low which means you have to almost double most directions on frozen food, etc. In addition to being a hassle, this means food isn't cooked the way it should be and items are often rubbery or not the intended consistency. Worst microwave I ever owned:

It overheats when cooking one baked potato for 8 minutes. Shuts itself off, takes two minutes to heat a small mug of water. Outside of microwave gets hot enough to burn your hand if you touch the surface. Clock messes up and cannot be reprogrammed.
I am livid that we wasted $ on this junk!
