This shank extension cannot be used alone! It requires the Hitachi 725780 SDS Max quick change rotary drilling adapter to attach the drill bit to this shank extension. This is a $[...] part. The combination of these two parts creates an incredably strong drill bit extension that cannot be beat. Unfortunately [...] doesn't sell this part and the shank extension is useless without it. You can find it on the web, eventually.
