Worked great in Italy:
I used this with my grounded Apple laptop power supply in Italy. Worked great!
Just what I needed:
I live in the Middle East and my home has a combination of English and Italian plugs. Locally purchased adaptors come primarily from China and are not well made or reliable. I wanted something that not only accepted a grounded American plug, but also would not fry or fry my appliances. This fit the bill and was well worth the expense. I would have given it 5 stars, but it's a bit bulky.
Did not arrive in time & not needed for Italy:
I bought this item because I was going to Ialy. The product did not arrive on time and therefore I returned it when I returned from my trip. I ended purchasing a converter in Paris for 3.70 euros. This converter worked perfectly in both France **and** Italy. My advice - if you are pushed for time, just buy whatever you need when you arrive in Europe. It's cheaper; you know it will work; *and* there is no hassle.
