Editorial Review:
The Panasonic NI-L46NR Cordless Steam/Dry Iron helps take the hassle out of ironing. There is no cord to get tangled or caught on the end of the ironing board, so ironing is quick and easy. The automatic shut-off system shuts the iron off if it has been left on the power base for more than 10 minutes. With Automatic Retractable Cord Reel, the cord automatically retracts into the reel housing on the charging base, helping to eliminate tangles and messy storage. Easy-to-fill water tank can be removed with just the push of a button and it can be refilled. Electronic temperature control feature maintains the selected ironing temperature accurately. Jet-of-Steam and Self-Cleaning helps remove stubborn wrinkles when ironing. It also helps clean the steam vents on the soleplate after ironing. It also includes a stainless steel soleplate and heat-resistant carrying case. Luvs It!!!:
The first of your two questions are inevitable "it is it heavy enough" Beware - if you want a heavy heavy iron this ain't it - but I got over that quickly - and "how much steam"....all very good, honestly....even speed-pressing-dirty-teenager-denim-jeans-in-the-morning-when-everyone-is-about-to-be-late - they press great. I love this iron - it makes great steam [unless you work as a washer woman who has to press all day] the steam does not run out - it readys very fast and stays hot - you can take it apart... more info
Everyone Loves It!:
My wife, mother-in-law and brother-in-law (all of who hate ironing) find it a pleasure to use. Of course, there is a process to follow with these types of irons, but once you get into a groove, it's a snap.
Best Iron Ever:
I always had to iron my own clothes even when I was married. With this cordless iron I can turn corners, flip it around, do the arms on my shirt, collars, etc. without a cord. With the blast of steam the collars look like they just came from a dry cleaners. Anyone who gives this a low rating does not know how to use it. The iron stays hot and yes you have to put it in the cradle when you are flipping your garments. I will take this any day over a corded iron. Now if I can find a wife to take over will be... more info
