Sounds great, looks great:
I bought this mini system for my daughter's bedroom. It is perfect. Radio picks up great. CD player does not skip. Remote control works great. She uses the line-in jack to connect her Zune.
Small Package Big Performance:
We purchased the Sony CMTBX1 to use for church services we do in a nursing home. We wanted something small enough to carry with us but able to deliver a better sound than a portable unit. The CMTBX1 has delivered big time. On homemade CD's it delivers sound and quality far beyond our expectations.

Could be a lot more intuitive to use--take a look at the tiny gray typeface against a dark background (somewhat indicating function for miniature buttons located on the top of the unit) under normal/low light conditions, and then add the remote control to the thirty others you probably need to have laying around your place.
