Do alot of laundry? The Rowenta DG5030 Pressure Iron and Steamer is designed for a busy family looking to get the most efficiency from an iron. Let's face it, nobody really enjoys ironing. Lifesaver!!!!!!!!!!:
I iron every week for my uniforms(US Navy) and my husband's work clothes. I would be in the laundry room for hours using a regular iron...with the Rowenta I can iron 12 pieces of clothes in 30 minutes!!!!!!! Furthermore, my wonderful husband decided to buy 100% cotton shirts which could never be ironed with a regular iron.... I am finally saving money from dropping them off at the dry cleaners. This is the best investment if you want to save time and avoid the stress of ironing over and over with a regular... more info
Terrible Customer Service at Rowenta:
DO NOT BUY A ROWENTA. Look at RELIABLE OR DELONGI. We have purchased 4 Rowenta irons for ourselves and as gifts. We recently had ours have a defective cord that burned my wife's hand. The customer service team not only did not repair the shorted cord, they sent the iron back to me in totally inoperable conditions. Buyers BEWARE, their service team is rude and totally insensitive. I own my own business and would bend over backwards to keep a customer, not these clowns.
Rowenta DG5030 Pressure Iron and Steamer:
Having used a professional iron for many years with an automatic drip bottle, this was a big change for me. I liked the features and affordability. It does a nice job. What I don't like is that I run out of water for steam if I'm doing a lot of ironing, whether it is household items or sewing projects. Note that I think nothing of spending a few hours in my sewing room working on things and ironing laundry as well.
Cindy:
I ordered this after reading all of the great reviews and was not dissappointed. I work with all kinds of fabric and this iron smooths out the worst wrinkles quick. Its large resevoir gives me plenty of work time and the length of hose is perfect for my sewing room layout.
