I'm a college student, and don't have time to maintain it. This humidifier is easy to use: it does not require a filter, so no soggy gross filter every few month. If you use distilled water, the humidifier will get dirty after, like, a year of use. If you are lazy and use tap water like me, white minerals will form and you should clean it at least every 3-6 month. A toothbrush and a little normal kitchen cleaner is sufficient for this. Cute, quiet and easy to clean!:
We have had this product for 2 years and love it! It generates a little (not a lot) of white noise - which you may/may not prefer, but we think is a plus. The mist comes out of the holes over the eyeballs, so it goes straight up in the air to fill the room. You use the knob to control the rate - the instructions say to turn it on high and then turn back until it only goes up instead of down to make sure you get the right amount.
