works great for my purposes:

I purchased this to use with my Playstation 3. I am able to store all of my mp3's, videos, and photos on this easily, and it works with a quick plug and play after formatting to fat32. I utilized a free software program from the net that did the fat32 format quickly, and the PS3 found it immediately. I have owned many Seagate internal drives before this external one, and all were reliable and durable, but eventually were outdated due to size. Like many of the other reviewers, I too was screwed by seagate. This drive worked great for about three months, just enough time to get it loaded up with important stuff. Last night when I tried to use it, the drive would not power up. No lights, nothing, totally dead. I have tried it on two different computers. It appears to be shot. Still Working After a Year:

I received the Seagate Agent 250GB last year as a gift, and after all this time, it hasn't failed me, still working fast and efficiently, and has caused me no trouble at all. I've been using this hard drive as a backup for all my important files, photos of my family, and other documents I would be upset about losing.
