Excellant tool in quality of construction and features, great for one person measuring, extremely accurate. Without a doubt this tool does cost more than other tools manufactured by Craftsman or Stanley, but the overall design and quality warrant the additional cost. Simply stated why buy a tool that might provide a correct dead on measurement.
Worth every penny due to accuracy and time saved.:
This laser is so accurate that in many applications it can replace a tape. In fact, it can be more accurate than a tape. For example, I recently used this to complete a 500 linear foot crown molding job that had some long spans along a cathedral ceiling and this gave measurements that were dead on when cutting with them.
