Great gift for any grandmother who loves to bake:
My grandmother loves her Pfaltzgraff pie plate with lamb pie bird, or is that a pie lamb, whatever. Works great she washed it and put it to use the next day. Excellent crust not a bit soggy dispite loads of apples and butter, thought that could be my grandmother. Amazon shipped this out during the busiest time of the year and got it to me in time for Christmas.
Worth it's weight in cuteness:
The pie plate is a great size and shape, and the stoneware bakes a perfect pie. But it's that lamb that makes it worth the price. Extremely cute, well-made, overglazed so the colors will last. It's as cute as pie, while preventing bubble-over.
