Should of Heeded other Reviews:

I read the reviews after I had bought this product. Since my charger had just went out, I was happy to find that Amazon carried it. I immediately ordered it and then decided to scan the reviews. I could not believe how negative the reviews were for this item.
Well when I received it, I plugged it in, placed in a battery, the red charging light went on, and then the light went off. The charger was BROKE. It lasted almost two seconds!
I contacted Ryobi. They sent me to a local warranty repair shop... more info

Ryobi charger:

The charger worked, but a bad battery shorted it out. I tried to figure out how to see if the battery was okay, but the places that they recommended like Napa and Auto Zone did not know either.

Don't waste your money:

My first one, which came with my cordless drill, died. I bought a replacement. It died. I will just buy a new cordless drill from a different manufacturer and save the future hassle.

Not good with older batteries !!:

Do not use with OLD batteries. If your charger died & your batteries are over a year old, save yourself some money and just get a new drill or whatever. Buying this charger will be a waste.
