great nonstick:
I bought this when our skillet went bad.
We used to own a 11inch one.
I could not really imagine how big it would be.
It turned out to be a little bigger than we needed.
But the coating is great and its firm and thick.
So I guess it would be a long lasting one as compared to
thinner ones of same cost. However compared to calphalon, its much cheaper and quality is
same or similar. I won various other brands like cuisine art, calphalon

I am very happy with my 12 inch Cuisinart nonstick skillet. The helper handle is great when the pan is full. I use it for stir fry meals, frozen pasta skillet meals. It is just the right size so you can stir and not have everything fly out! Clean up is quick and easy. I don't use it all the time only for large quantity. Would buy again.

THIS IS THE BEST PAN I EVERY HAD...AND I HAVE TRIED THEM ALL...I NOW HAVE IT IN 3 SIZES... MY ONLY NEGATIVE ABOUT IT WAS THAT I JUST FOUND IT IN MARSHALL'S FOR $14.99...I PAID A BIT MORE...I THINK I WILL BUY ANOTHER AND PUT IT AWAY OF GIVE IT AS A GIFT... IT IS SO EASY TO CLEAN AND SO SO LIGHT WEIGHT...DON'T HESITATE ABOUT GETTING THIS...YOU WILL LOVE IT TOO.
The Skillet:
This item was suggested to me since my previous non-stick pan had basically died on me. Its a nice pan but the edges of the pan flip out, which make our universal lid - not so universal. And therefor, doesn't properly work. I put the skillet in the oven, and it seems to produce a rubbery-chemical burn when you cook it. Even though it says its oven-proof. Works great ontop of the stove, will be a good inbetween pan in the meantime. Until I figure out what I will invest on for a full set.... more info
