The perfect gun range protector!:
I purchased 2 Peltor 97010 Ultimate Hearing Protectors for my wife and myself to use for our first experience at a indoor gun range. The Peltor does an excellent job of protection from the report of not only our gun but elliminates the distraction of other shooters. This hearing protector is very comfortable, adjustible and profides the protection that you need. This is truly a great value!
Effective Hearing Protection for the Shop:
I don't use these at the shooting range, which appears to put me in the minority (if you believe the instructions), but in the wood / metal shop. They effectively dampen sounds from my jointer, table saw and angle grinder.
Serious noise canceling:
I wanted to listen to music on the garden tractor but even the best noise canceling headphones can't compete with the racket. However, using earbuds with my iPod and these over the top, I can enjoy my tunes while riding. The tractor noise is greatly reduced so I can appreciate the music. PELTOR 97010 HEARING PROTECTOR:
I purchased this for my wife and she really can tell the difference from another brand she used. The 357 Magnum does create some noise and it was bothering her.
