magnetic cord sucks:
This could be a really good fryer. Except----this stupid, brain dead magnetic cord-obviously designed for "safety reasons"--which escape me at the present time. Anyway, the "safety" cord keeps falling off, temperature of the oil goes down, and the meal is ruined. I am going to cut the cord off, and solder the wires internally to ensure a solid and "safe" connection. Maybe then this thing will work right. I will never buy anything again with a so-called "safe" magnetic cord. Safe for what--keep morons away... more info
DON'T BUY DELONGHI IF YOU LIVE IN MANHATTAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:
Their products break down after 5 months and there is no service center anywhere near manhattan. Their products are expensive and suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. They are a waste of money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BEST FRYER ON MARKET:
Read reviews of all the fryers. This fryer sounded the best and have found
it to be exceptional. The temperature is correct and has no revolving
basket to cause problems. Large enough for family of four.
Love it!! love it!! love it!! BUT:
I just love this little machine, but with all things there is room for improvement. First things first. The ease of cleaning is amazing for a fryer. Just drain the oil with the spiffy little drain tube, wipe out the insides, throw the basket in the dishwasher and your home free. It's compact and takes up less room then most conventional fryers, I'm a real fan of its internal design which keeps my lovely self from being burned during the cooking process, and if you squint your eyes, glance at it... more info
