So Glad I Bought This!:
I live in the Chicago area, and have been a confirmed snow shoveler for 17 years. I just didn't want to hassle with a snow blower. Then I saw this cool product, a hybrid between a shovel and a blower. The Toro Power Shovel really works, and will save your time and your back! The unit throws the snow straight ahead about 20 feet. You use it just like a shovel, but with no lifting and throwing. You can adjust the handle length and the grip position to fit your height, further helping your back. The only... more info
My neighbor bought one, too.:
When my neighbor turned 70, he bought an off-brand electric snow thrower to clear the snow off his deck (our condo association does the driveways). My wife convinced me that I was old enough to get one, too. Amazon offered the Toro for $10.00 more than the neighbor paid and I thought it was a great deal. Sure enough, after the snow fell, we brought out our new toys. I cleared my deck in very little time but he seemed to be struggling. Last week He was out there with a new Toro. I guess it was worth the... more info
Gift.:
This is a gift for my mom in Iowa. Excited to see if works.

Seriously, it will stir up a lot of dust which is what it is supposed to do. I live in the Chicago area. We get about half a dozen really hard snows a year. Light snows in between. I'm in my thirties. I can clear our sidewalk and one car drive with a shovel in about 15 minutes. So, I don't use this for that. Maybe snow in Chicago is too wet, but when we... more info
