A lot less than I expected:
I purchased this fan despite the high price because I have been impressed by larger my larger Vornado fans. This fan does not come close to maintaining the level of quality of Vornado's larger line of fans. The fan is powered by electrical outlet (not batteries), has both low and high settings, swivels both vertically and horizontally, and swivels completely downwards for storage when not in use.
