very disappointing:

This one is on the trash heap today. Unless you are looking for a challenge to earn sainthood, do not buy this. It guarantees hours of winding cord and minutes of productive work.

Like new product:

The unit is like new. Hard to tell it is reconditioned. Before I bought this I attempted to replace the switch in the old one. That apparently was not the problem. So I have a Ryobi string trimmer that could be reonditioned, but don't know where to send it.

Disappointed in the basic quality:

I ordered my first Reconditioned Ryobi 15 inch trimmer a couple of weeks ago. It arrived with a critical small piece not attached. The piece missing was the "sleeve" or "collar" that allows the shaft of the attachment (string trimmer, edger, etc.) to attach to the shaft of the powered unit. I tried to attach the sleeve myself and could not. I boxed it up, sent it back, and requested an exchange. The second trimmer arrived yesterday. Great product:

I was very disappointed when I realized that I needed to replace our old electric ryobi trimmer as it finally broke and they stopped making them. The reconditioned one I purchased was wonderful and I was a bit nervous about purchasing something reconditioned. We have 4 attachements and everything works perfectly. I would recommend this product.
