Easy to work / understand Has the resume feature - just push stop then turn the player off. When you get back in the car, just turn the player back on and it will automatically resume Swivel feature is very nice!! Arrived as promised. Screen image good. Had a little trouble with the remote, but not significant.
solid performer, not outstanding:
Give this a 4 stars bc of its solid build and up-to-par functionality(the smaller Sony FX820 is more hi-tech more friendly w/ more large-screen capability)
However, it has some grinding noise at times and does not have the upconvert capability (by which a 4.3 format smoothly becomes a 16.9 without visible distortion)
Nevertheless, it is acceptable for children movies which do not require Hi-fi, hi-res and large screen across.
4 stars (but barely) for the metalic feel and very acceptable... more info

Great price---great sound---connects to your TV, if needed---it is so light compared to older portable DVD players---easy to use and the screen is bigger than the average one. Long lasting battery charge, too! I bought this for a gift, but would like one for myself. Worth buying!!
