Most likely it was a bad batch:
I spoke with CTA on this matter a rep said she never heard of this before but again maybe it was a bad batch. I'm still going to do Buss. with them through Amazon.
Disappointing -- did not last:
I bought these batteries because I thought the high capacity (12000 mAh) would result in longer life in applicances (I used these in baby toys). Not so. These faired about as well as much cheaper rechargeables. And then, after about 6 discharge/recharge cycles, 2 of the four started leaking. I will not buy these again, and recommend that you don't.
