My favorite appliance!:
Practically overnight, this immersion blender has become the essential appliance in my kitchen. It's convenient, powerful and multi-purpose. It is a godsend for making smoothies (which I do for my son almost every morning) and soups (which I do often). What a treat to no longer have to haul out and clean the big old blender! Better than a blender:
This is great for soups and sauces. They no longer need to be transferred from a pot to a classic blender. You just put the smartstick into the pot and let it blend. Cuts out a few steps. It's great. Easier to clean than the old blender. It's great. I highly recommend it.
Smoothies, batters, puree and Creams!:
I recommend this for whoever is planning to make anything of the above, follow the instructions though so if you are using ice, crush it a little before because it wont handle big pieces. I myself prefer to use cut fruit as ice, it adds more flavor into my smoothies. And when it comes to creams and soups, NO SCARY burning anymore, (I had a bad episode with a regular blender, making Potato soup, I literally burned my wrist), so this hand blender is so much safer and EASY TO CLEAN.
