I tracked this kettle down on Amazon after a favorite couple listed it on their wedding registry at Macy's and it was no longer available there. I am told they love it and use it every day...and it goes with their other Le Creuset pots. The bride lived in France for a year and loves "things French".
I like the kettle, but it does rust:
I like this kettle, but it does need some TLC. It can rust if water is left in it, and it shouldn't be stored on the stove while other cooking is going on since the enamel can rust. It is very good looking and the whistle is nice and loud.
Looks Great:
I purchased the Cherry color and love the vibrant red color. It is not a deep burgundy red, but a bright red with dark smoky gradient towards the bottom. The tea kettle feels solid and looks great with all my colorful Fiestaware.
