Customer Review: This adapter works great for what it is designed for. It is only for changing 4 inch hose to 2 1/2 hose. Not designed to connect directly to a tool or shop vacuums. Usually the 2 1/2 inch hose will connect to the tool.

I found out the hard way it doesn't stay still while... more info
Customer Review: My dust collector system has a 4 inch hose and a 2 inch end on the saw (dust connector). So I needed this quick disconnect to attach the two different size hoses together. It works very well for my needs
