Customer Review: This adapter works great for what it is designed for. It is only for changing 4 inch hose to 2 1/2 hose. Not designed to connect directly to a tool or shop vacuums. Usually the 2 1/2 inch hose will connect to the tool.
Customer Review: It works well for runs. It is not as good for connecting to tools. However, the clear heavy duty version of this is expensive and this will do the job if your willing to take the disconfort.

Customer Review: I ordered the 4" hose for my dust collector and pleased is an understatement. I got everything I expected and more out of this hose. More solid than the old style and a perfect fit for my blast gates and machine ports.
