Customer Review: First, I admit to being too lazy to empty my kitchen scraps often, so, with that said, rest assured this great little container REALLY WORKS! NO SMELL whatsoever! Looks great! Customer Review: This is a great container to hold compost. I am a teacher and purchased it for my classroom. Customer Review: fruit flies...no matter what I've done I've gotten fruit flies. I empty it into the compost pile every day, wash it, and still...fruit flies. Now the bucket lives outside the front door, and that works much better, but still, I wish there was a way to have it on my kitchen counter
