Jig holds molding at correct angle to eliminate complex compound angles. All you need to do is make a 45º cut! Features easy-to-follow reference guide attached to the jig. Can be used on cove and crown molding 2" to 4-1/2" wide. Fits any 10" and larger miter saw.
Cutting a Miter: 1) Set the miter saw according to reference guide shown on the jig. 2) Position the jig on the correct side of the blade, keeping it at a minimum of 1/2" from the blade. 3) Position the molding in the jig and hold both the jig and the workpiece against the miter saw fence. Warning: Always keep hands at least 4" from the miter saw blade. 4) With the power off, check the path of the blade to validate it clears the jig. 5) Make the first cut and immediately let the saw come to a complete stop before raising to its rest position.
